Vandelay Hospitality Group Names Gen Gray Chief Operating Officer and Prepares to Open El Molino
Dallas based Vandelay Hospitality Group has appointed Gen Gray as Chief Operating Officer as it prepares to open its newest concept, El Molino, in Snider Plaza on October 14.
“Gen is a transformational operator and culture builder,” Hunter Pond said in an email to us announcing the appointment. “Her track record scaling hospitality brands while elevating the guest experience makes her the ideal leader for our next phase of growth.”
That growth includes El Molino, a 2,500 square foot restaurant celebrating Mexican cuisine through a modern lens. The moody, candlelit space features wood fired fajitas, crab and shrimp enchiladas, and playful touches like fried chicken tenderito fajitas.
“El Molino is a place that pairs fun Mexican food with the energy of Drake’s and Jack & Harry’s,” Pond said in an email to us announcing the opening. “It’s my ode to if Javier’s and Drake’s had an offspring.”
El Molino opens October 14 at 6818 Snider Plaza in Dallas. Reservations are available online.
