Charleys Cheesesteaks & Wings Tests New Everyday Value Menu in Dallas

<p>Charleys Cheesesteaks & Wings is testing a new Everyday Value Menu in select Dallas and Tampa locations, pairing fan-favorite sandwiches and wings with new items and smaller combo sizes starting at $5.99. The limited rollout, announced this week, aims to prove that quick service can stay fresh, fast and affordable without cutting corners.

Charleys, which operates more than 850 locations worldwide, says the test supports its broader goal of serving high-quality food at accessible prices while keeping operations simple. The Everyday Value Menu builds on the chain’s reputation for hot-off-the-grill cheesesteaks and freshly made fries — the kind that still feel indulgent even when the price doesn’t.

“This test reflects Charleys’ commitment to continue brand evolution without compromise,” said Larry Geller, the company’s senior manager of R&D and culinary. “While we’re keeping the signature items our loyal guests love, we’ve introduced new offerings that align with broader industry trends, delivering craveability, speed and profitability while upholding our promise of made-to-order freshness.”

The new menu keeps things focused. Combos under $8 include a Small Philly Cheesesteak and fries for $7.99, a Small Chicken Cheesesteak combo for $6.99, and a four-piece boneless wing combo for $5.99. New additions include crispy chicken tenders with signature sauce, loaded fries topped with cheesesteak, and a pair of hefty “FAT Burritos” — the Fat Chuck and Fat Firebird.

Charleys chose Dallas and Tampa for their demographic variety and high-volume retail traffic, both strong test markets for value-driven innovation. Results from the test will help guide a potential national rollout in 2026.

We liked Charleys a lot when we visited last year — even more than Portillo’s — for its balance of freshness, speed and that unmistakable griddled steak aroma. If this test menu delivers the same quality at lower prices, Dallas might just become the model for how quick-service chains can rethink value.
