La Parisienne French Bistro Brings a Taste of Paris to Addison

<p>La Parisienne French Bistro opens its second North Texas location November 7 in Addison’s Village on the Parkway, bringing its mix of French romance, refined cooking, and cosmopolitan style to one of the area’s liveliest dining corridors. The 4,800-square-foot space at 5100 Belt Line Road joins the original at The Star in Frisco, which opened in 2023, and adds a private dining and tea room designed for celebrations both intimate and grand.

Founder Mondi Tag has once again tapped chef Omar Adame to oversee the kitchen, where the menu takes a confident turn toward classic French technique with a few indulgent modern touches. The dinner menu features a daily Beef Wellington, a showpiece of buttery pastry and tender Akaushi beef, and a lineup of steaks cut from the same marbled Wegyu. Other entrées include whole roasted Branzino Almondine, a rich, saffron-scented Bouillabaisse, and Duck Two Ways—leg confit and seared breast served with fennel, sweet potato gratinée, and cherry-duck jus.

Lunch brings a lighter, more convivial tone. Beet Salade, Steak Frites, and Colossal Shrimp Risotto share the menu with sandwiches such as a French Dip and Croque Monsieur. On weekends, brunch takes on the theatrical: Brûlée French Toast, Honey-Ricotta Pancakes, and Hot Honey Duck and Waffles arrive alongside Champagne Poached Pears with whipped Camembert and, for the true romantics, lavender butter-poached Lobster in a Jar.

La Parisienne’s tea service, offered daily, remains the restaurant’s signature. Priced from $45 to $59, the afternoon ritual includes finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and jam, and a rotating selection of delicate pastries. Each service is paired with fine teas poured tableside, with a vegetarian option available.

Tag says the Addison opening fulfills a vision that began with her first visit to Paris. “From the first time I visited, I recognized the magic and romance the city gives its guests,” she says. “Opening this larger restaurant in Addison allows us to share that same sense of gracious service and joie de vivre with North Texas.”

The room evokes a modern Parisian salon—Tiffany blue walls, crystal chandeliers, lush greenery, and velvet banquettes. The bar, set beneath a cascade of light, showcases a new cocktail and mocktail program built around European ingredients and presentation. Outside, a spacious patio glows with soft lighting and sociable energy. On Friday and Saturday evenings from 6 to 9:30 p.m., pianist and vocalist Andrew Frye performs live, adding a touch of supper-club glamour.
