Changes coming to Malai Kitchen in Uptown Dallas

This just in from PR pro Kellyn Curtis:

Malai Kitchen in West Village. owners Braden and Yasmin Wages have some cool things coming up:

  • Braden and Yasmin will be taking a trip to Acapulco, Mexico in early October to participate in World Forum of Mexican Cuisine. Braden will lead a seminar/demonstration comparing Thai and Mexican cuisine with Mico Rodriguez. More info here.
  • They’re in the process of getting their brewpub license and will soon begin brewing Bia Hoi, an unfiltered Vietnamese-style beer in-house.
  • They’re working on purchasing equipment that will allow them to make coconut milk in-house.
  • They’ve updated the brunch menu to include new items like Chicken and Egg Congee, Thai Omelette, and Thai Eggs Benedict.
  • They’ve expanded the wine list to include some rare varieties at extremely reasonable prices, each thoughtfully selected to pair well with the bold flavors of Thai and Vietnamese cuisine.
