Monkey King Noodle Co. headed to Fort Worth

Monkey King Noodle Company confirmed today that they will open a Fort Worth location later this month.

Monkey King Noodle Company tried their best to make a location inside Legacy Hall in Plano a success, but the purveyor best known for its from-scratch soup dumplings and hand-pulled noodles pulled out of Legacy Hall earlier this year and were left with their sole location in Deep Ellum.

Maybe the third time will be a charm, because Monkey King and their founder, Andrew Chen, are headed to another food hall to take another swing at it. This time, it’s the FoodHall at Crocket Row, where the Monkey will operate a stall beginning the week of April 21.

Monkey King joins two other Legacy Hall alumni, Press Waffle Co. and Knife Burger, at the Fort Worth FoodHall, which is not affiliated with Legacy Hall but seems to have more stability. While Press Waffle Co. still operates a Legacy Hall shop, John Tesar and his Knife Burger departed a few weeks ago.
