Heim BBQ is expanding their bacon burnt ends, burgers, brisket empire to Dallas

Our sources are awesome, and two tell us that Fort Worth powerhouse Heim BBQ could soon be opening a prime Dallas restaurant for their prime briskets, burgers and bacon burnt ends. 

Travis and Emma Heim have been methodically expanding their BBQ empire across Fort Worth, moving from a food truck operation three years ago to two busy, bricks-and-mortar stores in prominent Cowtown locations.

Now we’ve learned that the Heims and their business partners are close to taking over the empty Mockingbird Diner space across from Love Field for Heim BBQ Dallas. (The Heims are tight-lipped on this one – for now).

And the Mockingbird Diner location isn’t the only pit project Travis and Emma have on the drawing board; we’re hearing that they’re also looking at the Fort Worth Stockyards for their third Tarrant County store.
