A splashy new food hall opens in Grapevine this weekend with Azucar ice creams, Dough Boy donuts, Easy Slider burgers

Nine new restaurants open this weekend at Harvest Hall in Grapevine. The building and interior were designed to evoke the feel of a grand European rail station with 40-foot soaring ceilings, exposed trusses, and large panoramic windows. Harvest Hall is connected to to the recently opened Hotel Vin and is part of Grapevine Main, a $114 million mixed-use development.

All the restaurants are family owned and operated and focus on meals made from scratch.

Arepa TX specializes in handmade arepas made from scratch in small batches and prepared to order. The menu also includes tacos, empanadas, and rice bowls.

Chick & Biscuit is all about biscuits. They’re sold with fried chicken, Nashville Hot Chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. The kiosk is the sibling of Grapevine’s Mason & Dixie from chef/owner Beth Newman.

Easy Slider is the burger joint from Caroline Perini and Miley Holmes that serves CAB sliders with topped with seasonal ingredients. Their sauces and breads are made fresh daily, and all their desserts are made locally.

Monkey King Noodle Co. sells Northern Chinese street food from chef Andrew Chen. Standout dishes include Lamian (hand-pulled) noodles and Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings).

Spuntino by Loveria does lasagna and pastas plus regional dishes from Ravenna, Italy. Owners Stefania and Andrea Matteucci also own Loveria Caffe – Taste of Italy, in Colleyville.

ZaTaR’s is owner Niddal Abedrabbo’s showcase for original family recipes that were brought down through the generations and center on the Mediterranean. Dishes include llamb kabobs, an assortment of hummus dips, falafels, zatar pies, and shawarma cooked on a spit.

The Hall also contains Third Rail and Harvest Hall Main Bar, all-day spaces for hanging out or grabbing a cocktail. Want coffee? There’s Main Line Coffee Bar for single-origin and coffee from Deep Ellum’s specialty roaster, Counter Culture Coffee. Main Line also sells killer donuts from Burleson-based Dough Boy Donuts, fresh-made pastries from Grapevine’s Main Street Bakery and ice creams from the Bishop Arts District’s Azucár Ice Cream Company.

Harvest Hall is open Sunday – Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
