$19 filet mignon sandwiches and lobster rolls are headed to Dallas

A Philadelphia sandwich restaurant known for its $19 filet mignon steak sandwiches and lobster rolls is expanding to Dallas this year.

The Philadelphia Business Journal says the mini-chain, called Nick Filet, has inked a deal to open 10 DFW locations over the next five years.

“Father-and-son duo Keith and Nick Kline founded Nick Filet in 2018 with a goal to serve high-quality meats at affordable prices,” said the Journal, noting that “menu items include the 1/2lb BYO Filet Sandwich (build your own) and the Surf & Turf Sandwich, which includes a half pound of filet mignon and lobster. Both sandwiches each cost $18.99.”

Even better: they also sell lobster mac and cheese.
