Get ready for the debut of Dallas’ most incredible breakfast & lunch spot as Sadelle’s opens in Highland Park Village
Highland Park Village has a new heartbeat and a fancy front door.
NYC-based Major Food Group plans to unwrap morning hot spot Sadelle’s this Saturday, insider sources tell EscapeHatch.
The restaurant is expected to begin serving breakfast, brunch and lunch on Saturday morning, March 12. If you’ve made it to Sadelle’s in NYC or Las Vegas’ Bellagio Resort (where I shot these photos), you know all about Sadelle’s hand-rolled bagels, amazing sticky buns, and roving pastry cart.
The new interloper from NYC-based Major Food Group (Sadelle’s, Carbone) and Dallas equity partner Stephen Summers is known for a wonderful array of fresh-baked pastries, cakes, bagels, plus seafood towers, omelets, pancakes, cheese blintzes, and house-cured salmon.
Lunch signals the arrival of sandwiches like tuna melts, fried chicken and smoked salmon. Expect to see a pastry cart roaming the dining room, serving bear claws, chocolate babka, jelly doughnuts, cookies, those sticky buns (shown above) and coffee cake directly to your table.
“These are the sticky buns we serve in heaven,” says a lead angel.
Though the Dallas menu hasn’t yet been revealed (look here), expect it to pop up over the weekend. Dinner is in the works, too
A grab-and-go market section will be stocked with sandwiches and salads to-go.
Major Food Group is also behind another two openings soon to hit the calendar: Carbone and Vino, both in the Dallas Design District. We’ve promised not to divulge the opening dates of those two just yet, but we will very soon. (We did get a sneak peek, and both look stunning.)
