Walk-Ons Sports Bistreaux, the Lousiana-themed resto from NFL Great Drew Brees, has reopened its Las Colinas party spot

Sports-themed Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux has reopened its Las Colinas location, which paused operations during Covid.  Brandon Landry, the brand’s founder and CEO, was on hand for a celebratory tailgate party on March 21, where he presented a $10,000 check to franchise partner Dak Prescott’s foundation, Faith, Fight, Finish.

Walk-On’s menu showcases Louisiana-inspired dishes such as crawfish etouffée, duck & andouille gumbo and Krispy Kreme donut bread pudding– sort of like a BWW but with cajun flair, a hyphen, an apostrophe and scratch cooking. The company is co-managed by famed, 20-year NFL veteran quarterback Drew Brees and Landry, a former walk-on basketball player at LSU.

The Las Colinas location is among three Walk-On’s in DFW (there’s one in The Colony and Arlington). A fourth DFW restaurant, at 3702 W. University Drive in McKinney, is under construction.
