Mesero Restaurant Expanding to Oklahoma City’s OAK District
The popular Dallas-based restaurant Mesero will expand beyond the Lone Star State and anchor Oklahoma City’s new OAK mixed-use district. Located at 5101 North Pennsylvania Ave, the 20-acre OAK district is scheduled to open next September.
Mesero has garnered a strong following in Dallas for its distinctive concept of “Mexican spirit, American life.” The restaurant offers a contemporary twist on traditional Tex-Mex cuisine, blending vibrant flavors with an energetic atmosphere. USA Today named Mesero one of Dallas’ top Tex-Mex restaurants. Known for dishes like brisket tacos, Double Zero “skinny” frozen margaritas and shrimp-loaded ceviche, Mesero is a favorite among DFW residents, and Oklahoma fans often queue for more than an hour for a prime table during Texas-OU weekend.
The decision to expand to Oklahoma City was driven by Mesero’s commitment to growth. community-driven values and dedication to delivering exceptional service.
Mesero’s new location at OAK will occupy a choice 5,500-square-foot venue, featuring a mezzanine level for outdoor dining and events. By bringing its unique blend of flavors and ambiance to Oklahoma City, Mesero CEO Trey Dyer said he aims to provide residents with a dining experience that has earned loyal customers across Mesero’s seven DFW restaurants.
An eighth Mesero location is under development in Allen (we told you that here), and plans for an additional two Mesero locations are in the works for yet another out-of-state market. (We’ll tell you about those soon.)
