Dee Lincoln Brings Chef Julian Rodarte to Dee Lincoln Prime

Dee  Lincoln, the restaurateur who co-founded Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, has tapped Julian Rodarte as the new culinary director of her restaurants, Dee Lincoln Prime and Dee’s Table. Both are located at The Star in Frisco.

Rodarte, a Dallas-area chef known for his modern approach to Mexican cuisine, has been serving as culinary director at COSM, the high-tech, immersive dining and entertainment venue at Grandscape in The Colony. His next move brings him into Lincoln’s fold at her high-end steakhouse inside The Star, the mixed-use development anchored by the Dallas Cowboys’ headquarters.

Lincoln, a formidable presence in the Texas dining scene, opened Dee Lincoln Prime in 2018, carving out a niche with prime steaks, seafood, and tableside presentations that echo her steakhouse pedigree while incorporating global influences. With Rodarte at the helm, the restaurant is expected to broaden its culinary perspective while reinforcing its commitment to top-tier ingredients and show-stopping service.

“I’ve admired Julian’s work for years,” Lincoln said. “He brings innovation, precision, and passion to the table, which is exactly what we want for our guests at Dee Lincoln Prime.”

Rodarte, who co-founded Beto & Son, a “next-gen” Mexican restaurant at Trinity Groves, has built a reputation on bold flavors and forward-thinking techniques. At COSM, he has been involved in creating immersive dining experiences, pairing cuisine with cinematic visuals. At Dee Lincoln Prime, his focus will be on refining the steakhouse’s offerings while adding his own touches, particularly with seafood, sauces, and seasonal dishes.

Beyond his work in the kitchen, Rodarte has been wrapping up filming for a Food Network TV show, further cementing his presence on the national culinary stage. He is also a spokesperson for Liquid Zero Sugar bartender mixes, which feature prominently on the cocktail menu at Lincoln’s more casual concept, Dee’s Table, and are served at Dallas Cowboys games, AT&T Stadium events, the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas, and Globe Life Park, as well as more than two dozen prominent restaurants in Dallas-Fort Worth, including Mesero.

“This is an incredible opportunity to work with one of the greats,” Rodarte said. “Dee Lincoln is a pioneer in this industry, and I’m excited to help shape the future of Dee Lincoln Prime.”

Dee Lincoln Prime, located at 6670 Winning Drive in Frisco, is open for dinner nightly.
