Live Music for the Price of a Corn Dog: The State Fair’s Festival-Within-a-Fair Returns
You’ll come for the corn dogs. You’ll stay for the music.
The 2025 State Fair of Texas lands in Dallas from September 26 through October 19, featuring over 100 free performances across three stages, all included with Fair admission.
Three Stages, One Ticket
The Chevrolet Main Stage, near the Hall of State, remains the festival’s flagship outdoor venue. Expect a lineup that includes touring favorites like country-pop band Little Texas, ’90s pop-rockers Hoobastank, Tejano icons La Mafia, and Grammy-winner Brian McKnight.
A short stroll brings you to the Bud Light Stage, beside the Cotton Bowl. This is where Texas talent takes center stage. Regional acts perform daily amid the fried food frenzy. Look for Los Garcia Bros, Chente Barrera y Taconazo, Curt James, Diego & Edith, and Wreckless James.
Across the grounds, in a shaded spot at The Grove on Nimitz, the Bank of Texas Stage offers a more relaxed scene. Sip a glass of wine or beer, catch regional performers, and on Friday nights, enjoy “Deep Fried Comedy” with live music.
A True Texas Mix
“We’re proud to present a diverse and dynamic roster of artists who embody the energy of the Most Texan Place on Earth,” says Jason Hays, SVP of Brand Experience. The Main Stage is produced with Romeo Entertainment Group, while State Fair Records curates the Bud Light and Bank of Texas stages, combining festival experience with local authenticity.
Starting Early
Before the gates open, the Fair kicks off with State Fair Saddle Up at The Rustic on September 10. The benefit concert features Little Texas with opener Cash Byers, plus games, food, and fundraising for student scholarships through the Big Tex Youth Livestock Auction.
