Rodman Shields leaving top chef position at Cool River Cafe to lead The Common Table

Talented chef Rodman Shields is leaving Cool River Cafe  in Las Colinas next week to take the top chef position at The Common Table.

Look for changes in the brunch and lunch menus to come quickly. Shields’ final day at Cool River is October 3.

Hoping The Common Table will finally update their Facebook page to reflect their new guy; Sarah Snow is still listed as The Common Table’s chef, though she picked up her pasta tools and moved to the Grape weeks ago. The Common Table is owned by Twomey Concepts, the folks behind the now-closed Marquee Texas Grill and Toko V in Highland Park Village.
