Meadowlark Vineyards, Owned by Dallas’ Ramon Guerero, Wins Best of Show in Cali Competition


Remember this post from Dallas’ Ramon Guerrero, who, with his family, owns Meadowlark Vineyards?

Guerrero’s 2006 Meadowlark Vineyards Syrah won Best of Show at the 2010 U.S. Professional Wine Buyer’s Competition, held last month in Santa Rosa, California. His Syrah beat out some worthy competitors. You can see the entire awards list here. Other notable wineries Guerrero beat in the competition included Ste Michelle Wine Estates, Gloria Ferrer, Alexander Valley Vineyards, Beaucanon Estate, Jarvis, Trefethen and Rosenthal, among others.
