Ritz-Carlton Dallas Intros Guest Guacomologist Program
DALLAS, TX. June 11, 2010 — The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas has introduced a unique opportunity for special guests and visitors to the hotel.
The only experience of its kind, the Ritz-Carlton, Dallas Guest Guacamologist program allows individuals to participate as a guest chef during the hotel’s celebrated Guacamologist ritual, presented at 6 p.m. each evening in the hotel Lobby Lounge.
Offering a festive farewell to the workday, the Guacamologist experience provides Lobby Lounge guests with a complimentary tasting of Chef Dean Fearing’s specialty margaritas, accompanied by a fresh guacamole prepared by the hotel’s Guacamologist and designated Guest Guacamologist. The two Guacamologists work in tandem to create culinary magic, using Texas farm-to-market produce to hand-craft their own custom guacamole blend. The Guacamologist ritual is already very popular among hotel visitors, many of whom make it a point to gather in the Lobby Lounge just prior to 6 p.m.
“We are delighted to offer our new Guest Guacamologist role to guests and visitors of the hotel,” said Roberto van Geenen, General Manager, The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas. “There is no more delightful way to usher in the Dallas evening.”
Offered as available and on a complimentary basis, the Guest Guacamologist experience can be requested by any guest of the hotel by contacting the hotel public relations team or, in the case of hotel group and catering clients, by contacting the hotel sales team. The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas may be reached directly at (214) 922-0200 or, for room reservations, at (800) 241-3333, at www.ritzcarlton.com, or through a travel professional.
