Michael Siegel, Owner of Green House Food Truck, Writes About Art in October Celebration
Thanks to Downtown Dallas and the Arts District, the Green House truck will be downtown on Sunday afternoon from 12 – 5. It’s all part of a day-long celebration that includes Flora St closing down for a giant block party. There will be various free performances and activities, as well as free admission to all of the museums. This will mark the second appearance for Green House downtown. We were there a week ago for another part of this month-long downtown celebration. We served a crowd of roughly 4,000 and had a steady line from 6:00-10:30. Thanks to Design Within Reach, we now have tables, chairs, and even sofas for people to congregate around the truck and enjoy their meals. We’re hoping that this weekend will be another great success for downtown.
Ed Note: One Arts Plaza, in downtown Dallas off of Flora Street, is the place to be Sunday. In addition to Green House’s crazy-good food, free admission to the Dallas Museum of Art, the Nasher Sculpture Center, and the Crow Collection of Asian Art, there’ll be a street fair, pumpkin-decorating contest and art show.
Here’s what else is on tap.
