Gobble, Gobble: Del Frisco’s Chef David Holben’s Thanksgiving Dessert

My mom’s lime jello mold: I looked forward to it every year. It is simple and kids love it. When Mom died I wanted two things: her popcorn pot that we had a million of stories told over, and made butter pop corn with, and the jello mold for Thanksgiving. Years pass too quickly and we don’t realize it when we are young. What I would give to see her smile again. Moms, Dads, family; that’s what it is all about. Food is one of the best thing in the world because it can create and remind us of the best of memories.

Faith’s lime Jello

lg. box lime jell-o
1 20 oz can crushed pineapple
1 8oz cream cheese
chopped walnuts

drain pineapple – saving juice – use with the cold water to make jell-o – let set some (not firm)
beat in pineapple, cream cheese and nuts with hand mixer. pour into mold ( spray with pam first) – let set
