Park Restaurant on Henderson in Dallas Sold, Closed.

on Henderson Ave. in Dallas has been sold to the folks who own nearby Capital Pub and will close on Sunday. (SideDish’s Nancy Nichols broke part of the story here.)

The future of the space that has housed the Brady Bunch-meets-Jetsons lounge and restaurant is uncertain. The news of the sale came as a surprise to the restaurant’s manager, who responded to phone inquiries early Friday afternoon that a closure or change of course “is news to me. We’re open right now if you’d like to come in.”

Park opened in 2009 with chef Marc Cassel at the helm. Local foodies wildly praised the resto as a kind of Second Coming of the Green Room, a deceased but beloved dining venue that once featured Cassel’s cooking and a “feed me, wine me” omakase-style menu. Then new owners revived the Green Room, but its life was short.
