Velvet Taco Expanding to Fort Worth, Chicago and Los Angeles

Velvet Taco is expanding to Fort Worth, Chicago and Los Angeles, spreading its “global flavors tucked into a tortilla” theme beyond its Dallas borders.

The Fort Worth Velvet Taco will be near the West 7th development, in the space soon to be vacated by the Gold Standard bar, a Fork It Over spokesman confirmed today. The space was long rumored to be under contract to Fork It Over, which owns the Velvet Taco brand. Look for Velvet Taco to open in late 2013.

Other Velvet Taco locations under development: Manhattan Beach and Chicago.
