Lazaranda to host 6 course Chequen Wine dinner on Thursday, September 26


Chef Antonio Marquez writes the Hatch that he’s hosting a chef dinner at Lazaranda on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 7 p.m. The six course dinner includes  wines from Chequen Winery for $39.95.

“The dinner will begin with Mexican cocktails, mini chicharron sopes with fried cilantro and a salad with tuna, goat cheese, cactus, pear, ancho pepper dumplings and avocado vinaigrette. Main courses include garlic lime mahi-mahi with sautéed bananas and pineapples with cilantro pesto, pork tenderloin in red mole sauce with roasted peppers, mushroom risotto, cotija cheese and fried vegetables, and stuffed beef tenderloin in zucchini sauce with roasted peppers, corn mushroom and cowboy style mashed potatoes” plus chocolate and passion fruit mouse with peanut praline and fresh vanilla sauce.
