Mico Rodriguez to open second Mesero Miguel next March

Mico Rodriguez, the founder of Mi Cocina, Taco Diner and Mr. Mesero, has a lot on his combo plate. Rodriguez’s newest restaurant, the buzzworthy Mesero Miguel (which I write about in the October issue of 360 West Magazine), opens this Thursday. But there’s more, and in honor of Talk Like a Pirate Day on Thursday, I’ve burried the lede.

“I’m a little swamped right now,” Rodriguez told me as he readied the new restaurant, which inhabits the old Alma space on Henderson Avenue. “My new restaurant opens Thursday… and  I’m opening a third restaurant in March.”

That third restaurant? Rodriguez says it’ll be a second branch of Mesero Miguel, which will occupy a former toy store in Inwood Village, West Lovers Lane and Inwood Road.
