Chef Danyele McPherson has left The Grape to head kitchen at modern paleo palace HG Spy Co.
The Grape’s super spokesperson, Amity Thomas, sent word earlier today that change was afoot at The Grape restaurant: Danyele McPherson has left for greener, cleaner-eating pastures.
“We’ve loved having Chef Danyele McPherson in the kitchen,” says Luscher, the chef-owner of The Grape in the press release. “We wish her all the best in her next venture. She has served us well and should be very proud of the time she spent leading our culinary team.
Sidedish reports that McPhereson is headed to HG Sply Co, the modern paleo palace on lower Greenville Avenue that eschews starchy carbs as much as it does vowels. I’ve always been fond of HG Sply and its owner-operator, Elias Pope, who strikes me as an all-around good guy, but the food always seemed to need the finesse and seasoning of a more talented chef. Good chance McPherson is that chef.
McPherson had been with The Grape since March 2011.
