So & So’s, the buzzy new McKinney Avenue joint from the guys behind now-defunct Sfuzzi, will open for business Friday, April 18. The pizzeria – bar -late night patio place inhabits the vacated Primo’s, which everyone misses for every reason except its Mexican food. Former Komali and Salum chef Ian Tate runs So & So’s kitchen.

In semi-related news, Sfuzzi’s half-sibling in Las Colinas has decided to change its name to Table & Tavern, and has a menu revamp also in the works. “We’re not having any cash flow problems and we’re paying our bills,” one of the owners told me, “but we feel like our customers want us to offer more” than Sfuzzi’s pizza-centric menu, “so this was a good time to refocus.”
