This aerial drone captured July 4th fireworks from inside the fireworks!

I’ve been thinking about buying a DJI Phantom drone for a while. If I had one, I know what I’d be doing with it tonight, which is what crossed this guys mind when he captured a fireworks display from, well, inside the fireworks.

Wish he’d done a little more post-production work before he released the video, but, hey, it’s pretty damn cool to fly around inside the pyrotechnics with sparks flying all around you.

No way can you watch this and not smile. (H/T to Scott Anderson.) Be sure to switch the settings to 1080p HD.
