Mansion on Turtle Creek veteran hotelier Luke Mathot joins Fairmont Resorts & Hotels
Luke Mathot, a skilled F&B veteran of the Mansion on Turtle Creek and the Peninsula Hotel Chicago, has packed up his suitcase and considerable talent and moved down the street to the Fairmont Resort and Hotel group.
Mathot has joined the Canada-based hotelier as its new Corporate Director of Food & Beverage for the Americas. Mathot told me he’ll continue to live in Dallas while overseeing the brand’s 47 hotels and resorts in North and South America.
Hoping the Pyramid restaurant at the Fairmont Dallas Hotel is high on the list for a redo. Here’s one thing I know for sure: with Mathot in charge, they are in good hands.
