The Common Table to join the Dallas Cowboys, Dee Lincoln Prime at The Star development in Frisco

Owners of The Common Table tell EscapeHatch that they will join Howard Wang’s China Grill and previously announced restaurants Dee Lincoln Prime, Nestle Toll House, Mi Cocina, Liberty Burger, Tupelo Honey Cafe and City Works at the Frisco new mixed-use development called The Star.

The Star will be anchored by an Omni Hotel (and that Neighborhood Services we first told you about) and the Dallas Cowboys practice facility.

Restaurateurs Mark Hearl, Corey Pond, Mike Yeatman and Rodman Shields have leased a 6,200 square foot space between Mi Cocina and Howard Wang’s China Grill for a second location of their popular Uptown restaurant, which specializes in casual dishes, burgers and one of the city’s best beer selections.

Shields, who serves as the company’s executive chef, says the menu at the Frisco restaurant will be similar to the original Uptown location’s and will feature a selection of roughly 90 beers. The new restaurant will also sport a large outdoor patio.

Shields says he expects to open The Common Table at Frisco Star in December.
