Fearing’s chef Eric Dreyer is off to SoCal to be a Famous Celebrity’s new personal chef

Sending best wishes and cauliflower dreams to EscapeHatch friend Eric Dreyer, until recently the well-regarded exec chef at Fearing’s at the Ritz-Carlton Dallas hotel. Dreyer wrapped up his decade-long Fearing’s gig a couple of weekends ago, swapping comeback salads and bourbon-spiked mop sauces for steamed veggies and cauliflower pizzas. Oh, the other big difference? Instead of cooking for you and me, he’ll be toasting and roasting for a famous actor and media mogul.

Dreyer, one of Dallas’ most talented and humble chefs, was tight-lipped about his new employer, but my sources say he’ll be spending a lot of time with his new BFF Gayle and a tall dude named Stedman.

Good luck and Godspeed, Eric. We’ll miss you.
