Punch Bowl Social just opened in Fort Worth – and now it’s closed

Denver-based Punch Bowl Social was on a rocket this summer, opening a huge location in Dallas’ Deep Ellum neighborhood then jumping over to Fort Worth right after that to debut a Punch Bowl in Cowtown. Now, less than four months after it opened, the Fort Worth Punch Bowl has closed. The Dallas location remains steady, but the Fort Worth Punch Bowl, which opened on July 27, has taken a fatal blow. Cracker Barrel injected a huge cash investment in the Denver-based chain soon after the DFW Punch Bowls opened; perhaps the new money tightened the spigot? Someone’s gonna need more than a big punch bowl cocktail to get through this.
