Georgie Dallas Hosts Exclusive Chef Dinner Series with Michelin-Starred Chefs, September 16-17
Georgie, the Michelin-eligible contemporary fine dining restaurant in Dallas, is set to host an inaugural Chef Dinner Series on September 16-17. This two-night event will feature collaborations between Georgie’s Executive Chef RJ Yoakum, chef Jeremiah Langhorne of the Michelin-starred The Dabney in Washington, D.C., and chef Alberto Marcolongo of Alain Ducasse’s Benoit in New York City.
On September 16, Yoakum (one of the city’s most talented chefs) will collaborate with the chef Alberto Marcolongo, known for his contemporary French cuisine at Benoit. The menu for this evening will include dishes such as caviar brioche with baeri Siberian sturgeon, grilled Spanish octopus with potato & squash blossom tortilla and brown butter mole negro, and pink snapper with Meyer lemon & ginger crust and arugula.
The following evening, September 17, Yoakum will partner with the chef Jeremiah Langhorne, celebrated for his Mid-Atlantic culinary expertise. The menu for this night will feature Texas Lockhart quail with foie gras stuffing, Parmesan polenta, and black cherry gastrique, Berkshire pork chop with grilled avocado, lime, peanut, and blackberry BBQ, and smoked tomato cavatelli with crispy broccoli, Parmesan and basil.
Each evening’s six-course tasting menu will showcase seasonal flavors and locally-sourced ingredients. Dinners begin with a reception featuring specialty cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Bonton Farms, the urban farm in South Dallas dedicated to providing fresh ingredients and natural food to the community.
