The TaylorMade PGA Tour team will be custom building and selling Tour-spec clubs for purchase at the PGA Tour Superstore in Plano on Saturday, May 17
Want to play the exact same TaylorMade irons, drivers or woods you’ll spot at the Byron Nelson or Colonial golf tournaments? If you stop by the PGA Tour Superstore on Saturday, you can.
The TaylorMade Tour Truck, the same million-dollar vehicle and PGA Tour technician team that builds golf equipment for PGA Tour players, will sneak away from the HP Byron Nelson Championship to set up camp at the PGA TOUR Superstore off of Preston Road in Plano on Saturday.
From 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., the TM Tour staff will be building and selling the same Tour-issued clubs you see on the fairways at pro events, which, not surprisingly, can be significantly different from the stuff you see on retail shelves.
Stocked with TaylorMade Golf Company’s Tour metal woods like the SLDR driver and new SLDR Mini Driver, you’ll have the opportunity to demo clubs in outdoor hitting bays and have the TM staff custom fit you for TM clubs.
Like what you hit? Buy it, then watch the clubs be built aboard the TaylorMade Tour Truck by Tour technicians and the same guys who build equipment each week for PGA Tour players Dustin Johnson, Sergio Garcia, 2013 U.S. Open champion Justin Rose.
Free demos, hourly giveaways and Tour truck tours, too. Pretty sweet deal.
The TaylorMade Tour Truck is in DFW for the HP Byron Nelson Championship this week, en route to the Crown Plaza Invitational at Colonial in Fort Worth the week of May 19.
