Tim Love confirms he’ll open a Lonesome Dove restaurant in downtown Austin

<p style=”color: #444444;”>Fort Worth chef Tim Love Tweeted the news Tuesday: He’s opening an Austin branch of his Lonesome Dove Western Bistro in downtown Austin. Though Love didn’t reveal the exact location, the money says Lonesome Dove will inhabit the former home of sushi restaurant Kenichi, which closed just days ago.

Lonesome Dove has been a fixture in downtown Forth Worth since 2000. Love operates other restaurants in Fort Worth and Denton (including Woodshed Smokehouse), consulted on the menu for Dallas’ Barter, and co-stars in CNBC’s unreality show, “Restaurant Startup.”
