Dee Lincoln closing her Steak & Burger Bar in Dallas, won’t open Highland Park restaurant, Fort Worth steakhouse on hold
Dee Lincoln said today that she will shutter her Dee Lincoln Steak and Burger Bar in Uptown Dallas on Saturday, March 28th following dinner service. The location and casual concept never quite caught on, so the co-founder of Del Frisco’s has decided to move on.
What’s next? Lincoln also says she’s also scrapping plans for a Highland Park location for a similar but more upscale Dee Lincoln Steak Bar, slated for the former La Duni space at 4262 Oak Lawn Avenue in the Shops of Highland Park.
And that Fort Worth Museum Place location (3280 West Seventh Street) intended to open next month as Dee Lincoln Steak? It’s gone, too, though Lincoln now says she’ll reconcept it as an “upscale prime steakhouse.”
“My past successes prove that I should return to my roots and do what I do best,” Lincoln said through a press release.
