Eataly Dallas has all-you-can-eat handmade pasta and no one’s talking about it

The good stuff:

The folks at Eataly Dallas make some of the best fresh extruded and filled pastas in the region. I know this because Stefano Secchi, the one-star Michelin NYC chef, taught me how to make fresh pastas, and Eataly’s are better than mine. Almost. Ok, a few of them. But those few include agnolotti filled with pork and veal and good Parmigiano, then sauced with a heavy hand of black truffle butter. It’s a specialty of Piedmont, Italy, and since you can’t go there on a random Monday night, Eataly comes close.

Eataly Dallas serves a plate of those agnolotti at their “La Pizza & La Pasta” restaurant for $24. But on Monday nights this month, Eataly Dallas offers that gem plus hefty plates of a few other pastas for $25. As much as you want. Endless, like Olive Garden breadsticks and LobsterFest only better because Eataly’s pastas are really good and made without can openers and cooks who need homework breaks.

Yeah, there are a few rules. Everyone at the table has to do the $25 AYCE deal. It’s only offered Mondays through March 28, and you’ll need to request the “Giro” (Italian for tour) pasta menu from your waiter. The instructions say you have to finish everything on your plate before you can be excused from the table order more, but that’s just corporate jibber-jabber; our waiter called an audible on that.

You really want to jump on this deal.
