New Menu at Coast Global Seafood for Summer

PLANO, TX (July 6, 2010) – Known for its jet-fresh seafood, Coast Global Seafood restaurant has launched a new summer menu boasting even more choices including both seafood and non-seafood options. As the name implies, COAST is where the land meets the sea. The menu changes reflect this duality of both delicious meats and succulent seafood. In addition to the new items, guests will find a wider variety of price points, as well as COAST’s continued expansive wine and cocktail list.

Highlights on the menu include salads such as Roasted Chicken with baby spinach, honey mustard vinaigrette, tomatoes and cheddar ($12) or Cucumber and Crab with sliced English cucumber drizzled with lemon-champagne vinaigrette and topped with jumbo lump crab ($9). Diners can pick up “Hand Helds” including the Angus Chuck Burger with white cheddar, bacon, lettuce and tomato served with garlic parmesan fries ($12) or a Grilled Salmon BLT with lettuce, tomato, bacon, avocado and lemon aioli also served with parmesan fries ($12). Main course offerings include Scottish Salmon served with lemon cous cous and citrus butter ($22), Mahi Mahi jerk grilled with coconut rice and pineapple black bean salsa ($26) or Vegetarian Risotto with seasonal vegetables and parmesan in a porcini broth ($13). Other main courses include Short Rib Pasta housemade with pappardelle, short rib, peas, tomatoes and parmesan ($18); Filet Mignon, an 8-oz. center-cut tenderloin with mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus and house-made steak sauce; or Flatiron Steak made with tellicherry peppercorn seared steak and served with parmesan fries and Swiss chard with a bourbon-peppercorn sauce ($19).
