Fundraiser for Fallen North Texas Police Officers

Brent Jackson, an EscapeHatch friend and the developer of Sylvan/30–the Oak Cliff venture that houses 48Nights, writes:

We hope you can join us this Saturday, July 24th from 6-9pm for a fundraiser benefiting North Texas fallen police officers and firefighters. Please help us spread the word and join us on Facebook.
Ride your motorcycle, bicycle or walk to the Alamo Plaza Hotel entering through the old County Auto Service Center on Sylvan Avenue (the future site of SYLVAN | THIRTY).

Bike Design Contests: $10 entry fee with proceeds benefiting Guns N’ Hoses

Spikes n’ Spokes is an audience judged competition between bicycles and motorcycles based on design and visual appearance. The winner of the competition will receive two tickets to The Taste of the NFL, which is a unique dining experience featuring chefs from around the NFL and an opportunity to meet NFL players and coaches.
Proceeds of Spikes n’ Spokes will benefit Guns and Hoses Foundation of North Texas.
