Savor Dallas too big for Downtown Dallas–moves to Las Colinas and beyond

I know you thought downtown Dallas was happening, that Victory Park and the AAC were finally going to catch on. But they haven’t. And they won’t.

At least not until Savor Dallas moves back from its new HQ digs in Las Colinas.Because Savor Dallas and it’s founders, Jim and Vicki White, know what they’re doing. They know how to throw a great wine party. They know how to convince 65 chefs and restaurants that the International Grand Tasting is the place to see and be seen. And they know how to fill a room with more than 400 different premium wines, spirits and beers…without running out before the whole thing winds down around 10 pm.

Savor Dallas runs March 30-31 this year. Most of the premier events take place in Las Colinas (the Reserve tasting and the Grand tasting at the new Irving Convention Center,  the Saturday afternoon wine panels at the Four Seasons). A few take place in other Dallas venues such as the Mansion on Turtle Creek. the Winspear Opera House and the Kessler theater. You can buy tickets to any or all of the affiliated events right now ($25-125), or you can gamble that there will be some as the event grows closer.*

Ticket prices for the individual events range from $25 to $125.  Weekend passes also are available at an overall cost saving. Parking will be $5 per car in the Winspear Opera House Red Parking in the Arts District the entire evening of March 30.  Parking for March 31 will be $ 8 self-parking in Irving Convention Center Garage.  Valet parking is also available.
