Kiepersol launches bartending contest with $10,000 in prizes

<span style=”color: #000000;”>“We’re calling it a BlindTending Challenge because in the semifinal round, the audience will select the best bartenders without seeing them. The finalists out of that group will be in front of the judges who will select the champions,” says Pierre de Wet, founder of Kiepersol Enterprises, in an email to the Hatch. “Each bartender will create a signature cocktail using one of our Kiepersol spirits – Dirk’s Vodka, Jimmy’s Bourbon and Pierre’s Rum”

Bartenders from throughout Texas will have a chance to match their reputations and skills as part of the Kiepersol BlindTending Bartenders Competition, launching this week and running through Tuesday, November 11. The top three competitors will split $10,000 in prize money.

Kiepersol Enterprises is a food and wine destination in Tyler, featuring a winery, distillery, steak house restaurant, B&B, digital audio recording studio and events center.

Bartenders have to register here by September 20. For more info and contest details: www.kiepersol.com.
