The folks behind Pakpao, Oak, to open El Bolera, a new Mexican restaurant, in the Design District

Richard and Tiffanee Ellman, the duo behind Pakpao and Oak, confirm that they and business partner John Paul Valverde (Coeval Studios) have yet another restaurant in the works. To be called El Bolero, the restaurant will focus on the flavors of Mexico but with no specific regional tilt. The menu is still under development, but Tiffanee Ellman told me we could expect “hand made tortillas and authentic cuisine.”   El Bolero is slated to open late this year.
