Kent Rathbun to open Hickory Kitchen in Plano

Chef Kent Rathbun (Abacus, Jasper’s) spilled the beans on tv and Facebook that he’s planning to open Hickory Kitchen, a burger-craft beer-big patio kind of place. “Hickory Kitchen is coming to Plano this spring,” Rathbun wrote on his Facebook page Friday. “Our newest concept will feature elevated burgers, BBQ, local beers on tap, breakfast and a great patio. Look for it this spring near Hwy 121 and Dallas North Tollway in Plano.” No word if Hickory will be similar to Jasper’s, nearby.
