Nick and Sam’s Grill in Uptown Dallas has closed

The once-buzzy Uptown Dallas branch of Nick and Sam’s Grill locked its doors and closed for business last weekend.

“That whole area has change since we opened the grill five years ago” said Samir Dhurandhar, executive chef of the Nick and Sam’s empire. “We are already working on a fresh new concept for that space.”

The problem sure wasn’t the steaks: Dhurandhar told the Hatch that same-store revenue at the flagship Nick and Sam’s Steakhouse, a block away on Maple Avenue, continued its upward march again this year.
