Radar Range: Pappasito’s to Open at DFW Int’l Airport This Week

Nearly in time for Texas Independence Day, you’ll finally be able to get your Tex-Mex on at DFW International Airport. (March 2, 1836, for those not from these parts, was the day Texas declared its independence from Mexico)

No one would argue that the airport needs better dining choices. Don’t get me wrong; I love Popeye’s Chicken and the Grove as much as anybody, but sometimes I want to pass a two-hour delay by sipping a tasty ‘rita and eating some solid Tex-Mex.

Beginning next week, that’ll no longer be a problem. Dallas’ first airport Pappasito’s Cantina is in Terminal A, at Gate 28.

Now travelers will have another in-flight dilemma: How do you get more chips and salsa when you run low at 28,000 feet?
