Radar Range: Creme de la Cookie Opening in Preston Royal Shopping Center

<p>I’m a fan of Creme de la Cookie, the bakery in Snider Plaza that inhabits the old Dough Monkey space.

A lot of people thought Creme de la Cookie woudn’t make it.

If Dough Monkey failed, they reasoned, how could another bakery possibly succeed? I wondered the same thing.

But succeed they have. They’ve delivered baked goods to celebs all over town, including a former President and a current president. Maybe they’ve even delivered to you. (I wish they’d deliver to me.)

Owners Steve and Toni Rivard are thriving in their small storefront operation. Which means only one thing: time to expand.

Toni Rivard confirmed that Creme de la Cookie is opening a second location in the Preston Royal Shopping Center in June. Though she’s not ready to divulge any more details–all the pieces aren’t quite finalized–Rivard promises more than cookies, cakes, and cake balls for the new store.
