Sprinkles Cupcakes: Donating Sales to Hunger Buster’s After School Program

From August 22 to 28, Sprinkles Cupcakes at the Plaza at Preston Center is donating 100% of sales of its vanilla milk chocolate cupcakes to Hunger Busters “Feed the Need-After School Program.” The charity provides Dallas school kids who participate in subsidized breakfast and lunch meal plans with a nutritious third meal of the day.

I’m guessing that doesn’t include a Sprinkles cupcake, though the vanilla milk chocolate cupcake in this promotion is really satisfying–notes of dairy and vanilla, and a soft crumb that’s moist and buttery. (It’s almost as good as the flourless chocolate cupcake they sold last year around Easter.)
