EscapeHatch Exclusive: Free Glenfiddich Tasting and Cask Rolling on May 9
, the World’s Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, is rolling–literally– through town on May 9, with a special cask of whisky.
As part of their national “Cask of Dreams” campaign, Glenfiddich Ambassadors Heather Greene, Freddy May and Mitch Bechard are travelling across the country, rolling actual casks around the streets, encouraging people to write their dreams and aspirations on them. There’s also a drawing for a series of dream trips in which winners can”explore their adventurous and culinary pursuits,” whatever that means.
The event will include a special unveiling of the signed cask after it has rolled around the iconic landmarks and streets of Dallas.

At the end of the campaign, the casks will be sent to the storied Glenfiddich distillery in Scotland, where they will be used to finish a special limited edition expression of Glenfiddich, which will then be sold in the U.S in early 2012.
