Make Reservations Now for Restaurant Week 2011

More than 130 restaurants in the Dallas and Ft. Worth areas are offering special deals to lure diners during the week of August 15-21, but many extend the three-course $35 prix fixe dinner for another two or three weeks and tack on a few days — the weekend of August 12-14--to raise additional revenue. $7 of each $35 meal (which does not include tip or taxes, or any beverages) is donated to the North Texas Food Bank in Dallas or the Lena Pope Home in Fort Worth.

Teresa Gubbins at Pegasus News is also donating her time to the cause, typing up and posting a complete list of participating restaurants here so the Hatch doesn’t have to do the same thing.

Some noteworthy venues to check out: Stephan Pyles, Fearings, the Ranch in Las Colinas, Dee Lincoln’s Tasting Room, Craft-Dallas, Nick and Sams, Nobu and Pappas Bros. (which made the largest donation to the RW charities in 2010).
