What do you do with 300 bottles of Dublin Dr. Pepper? Velvet Taco makes bbq sauce and tacos

“We have 300 bottle of Dublin Dr. Pepper left, so we’e going to send these last few out in style,” says Velvet Taco’s executive chef, John Franke.

All this week, Franke is serving a special taco at Velvet Taco.

“It’s filled with Texas jalapeno grilled sausage, crisp and creamy coleslaw, mashed cowboy beans and a Dublin Dr. Pepper barbecue sauce we created especially for this taco,” said Chef Franke. “This soda has been a staple here in Texas for a long time and Velvet Taco believes it deserves a proper send off.”

Then on Thursday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Velvet Taco will serve six Dublin Bottling Works sodas made with pure cane sugar:

·      Tart-n-Sweet Lemonade
·      Dublin Cherry Lime Aid
·      Dublin Grape
·      Dublin Orange Crème
·      Dublin Vanilla Crème
