First Bytes: Carbone’s Fine Food & Wine, Casual Ital opens Monday

<strong>Julian Barsotti opens his casual Italian sit-down/take-out/Sunday supper place, Carbone’s Fine Food & Wine, on Monday. (I’ve already told you about it here and here.)

Last night, Barsotti invited me in for a fitst byte.

“I’m still tweaking the menu,” Barsotti told me.

I wouldn’t change a thing. $16 for the best spaghetti Bolognese this side of Manhattan? It’s Nonna quality food at grandma pricing. This place is gonna hit big.

Scroll down, then scratch and sniff.
