Radar Range: Central Standard will be first restaurant at 1400 Hi Line Drive, in Dallas Design District

<p align=”left”>As I first told you here, Restaurants America has leased a 7,201-square-foot space at 1400 Hi Line Drive in the Design District in Dallas for yet another new concept. They’re calling it Central Standard,  a “gastro sports pub.” Neighboring restaurants in the Design District include Meddlesome Moth and Oak.

Restaurants America has a crush on Dallas. They’re rapidly opening one-off restaurant-bars in the area, undoubtedly seeing what sticks and what concepts shouldn’t be expanded. Currently, RA operates Primebar in Uptown and Townhouse Kitchen + Bar at the Galleria. Four others are in various stages of development: Park Tavern and Boca Chica in the Shops at Park Lane,  a new resto/bar at Mockingbird Station (they’ve already decided not to go with the name Wild Cat Tavern), and now  Central Standard.

RA plans to open Central Standard this fall. It’s the first retail lease signed for the ground floor at 1400 Hi Line that is located along Hi Line Drive between North Stemmons Freeway and Edison Street.  1400 Hi Line is a 23-story, 314-unit multifamily project that is expected to open this summer and be completed in early 2013.
