FnG Eats, New Keller F2T Restaurant, to Open August 28
On the heels of Milk & Honey Company’s success in downtown Keller (read all about it in 360 West Magazine) newcomer FnG Eats brings another F2T restaurant to once-sleepy Keller, west of Dallas.
Bob Stephenson, formerly the chef at Las Colinas’ Cool River, leads the kitchen and co-owns FnG Eats with Carlos Arevalo. The duo describes their 100-seat venture with phrases that include all the trendy buzz words: “locally sourced upscale-comfort food,” “American grill,” “homestyle,” “innovative,” you know, the stuff that everyone’s eating these days.
Stephenson says he’ll source produce from the Keller Farmers Market. The opening menu includes Scottish salmon deviled eggs, a “spinach chard” salad, an “Acme Brick” Cuban sandwich, PEI mussels with chorizo, “wood-grilled garlic tomatoes served with fire-kissed Nola sour dough” (hmmm), and an apple-stuffed pork chop with sweet potato hash.
FnG Eats will serve lunch and dinner. The space features an open kitchen off the main dining room, a patio, a community table and a private dining space that can seat 30.
